A blog in the life of an International DJ / producer.

Fresh Leeds

Now this was the perfect way to finish a very busy (but productive) week in the studio. I travelled to Leeds for this weeks show. The night is called Filth, and they do it at a very nice club indeed called Mint. I've played mint before, and it was good, but now with the new renovations, its great! They've re-positioned the DJ booth to a much more sensible place, made the whole place feel bigger, installed a massive Funktion One sound system, and setup a possibly the coolest lighting rig I've ever seen. To top off the night, the place was packed, the people well up for it, and so was I!

Back to the studio work. I managed to catch up with the boys from Stupid Fresh whilst up in Leeds and good times were had all round. Chris and I even found some time to write a new "hit"(it's much more glass half full than just saying song).

Previous to all this, I was getting my remix on. During the week back in London, I did a remix for Sidney Samson. The track is called "Shut Up & Let It Go" but u prob know him better from his anthem "Riverside". I've actually also started another couple of original "hits" too. I did a VIP alternate version of Keyboard Cat, which I've ingeniously titled "Organ Cat", and i did another called "But Enough About Me". Speaking of which....see u next week.
