The Auckland show was an all ages gig called Contrast at a place called Studio. I haven't played an all ages show in ages. So i wasn't sure what to expect. I was fortunately, pleasantly surprised! Not only was the show huge and rocking, but even after the venue suffered a few false fire alarms and had to clear ppl out, they all came back, and partied even harder!
3 flights later i'd been and done Mackay, and was back in Sydney, meeting fRew and Northie to go play "Watch This Bass" in Dubbo. As a DJ, touring can often be a il lonely, so i'm always excited when i get to tour with my mates. To add to this, not only was i playing with fRew and Northie, but we bumped into our good buddy Hook N Sling at the airport too. He was playing in Dubbo the same night. So the crew had expanded, and we immediately made dinner plans. Check out the Talkbox scene in the youtube vid, hahaha.
It was good times all round in Dubbo. Had a great time hanging out with the guys, and the gig was rockin too. I was impressed. The sound, lighting, and operation were all great, and most importantly, the people and crowd we're well up for it too.
One more flight and was back in Sydney. Next week, we'll do it all again! I mean it too, as actualy next week, I'm playing a show with Hook N Sling at Family in Brisbane, and one with fRew in Cairns. good times.
